The 25th Hour

The 25th Hour is the time we spend helping others. The time we give to the people and places that matter to us most.

Helping people out is a national passion. Every year, millions of people all around the country give up billions of hours of their time to lend a helping hand.

Somehow, we find the time. It’s like there’s a 25th Hour in the day. Imagine if everyone used their 25th Hour – the effect would be really powerful.

The 25th Hour recognises that London 2012 is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. It’s a chance to take the inspiration of the Games and use it to achieve something extraordinary.

Already, three-quarters of people say they want London 2012 to help communities everywhere, beyond the Olympic Park and beyond 2012. And a third of people say they would give their time to an activity inspired by Olympic and Paralympic Games.
